My name is Samantha McElyea (Mac-ill-YAY!)
I'm probably the silliest eighteen-year-old woman you've ever met. I grew up a pastors' daughter in Meridian / Boise, ID. I was in the middle for a bit. I proclaim Jesus Christ as my savior and my baptist girl beliefs helped me keep a level head through out these past few years. I seriously am a 23 year old inside my tiny 4 foot 11 frame. I always knew I wanted to make an impact, but I never knew how. I got into my photography about a year and a half ago. I took a photo out of sheer curiosity and BAM! My talent in life was soon born and brought to my attention.
I believe God gave me the talent I do for many reasons;
A: To keep me occupied
B. To show a whole different side of life through a lens.
And C: To make others smile and show them how the world sees them. Young, fun, and beautiful. Guy or girl.
This obviously not just some dream job I wish I could do all my life and never have a boss, but my photography has brought me closer to others around me. So if I can in anyways bring someone closer to me or a loved one, my job as not just a Christian, but a photographer, is done.
